Holidays are just around the corner. So whatever you celebrate, be it Yule, Christmas, Hannukah, New Year or something I forgot to list, I wish you to spend it in peace, with your loved ones. If you love presents, I hope you get plenty. Whatever you wish for, and I'm sure you were careful about that, I hope it comes true. Most of all, I wish you to be healthy and happy.
Yesterday, and night before, my country was under a heavy storm, mostly snowing heavily in places where there was no snow in decades. Only in the far south it was not snowing, but very strong winds blew from the sea. Temperatures dropped well below zero, which in the continent is not so unusual, but for the coast it was both fun for the kids and worries for the parents and esp older people.

I took the time to change clubs I was an admin of to dA groups, I converted three and NC was converted by =hoogathy , and I'm co-foundress. I hope some other clubs might re-activate now as it's much easier to maintain them than when I started. Feel free to join us in any of those if intersted.

Nothing much is new around here. Done all those tests, seems like they might have a clue what causes my migraines and are trying to cure them. Hope they succeed.
Sold my first photo for 50 Euros, not bad, huh? One time use for the landscapes calender for 2010. It's the photo shown in the thumb above, where the grey heron just flew into the frame I do like it, many people thought I should cut out the "burned" part in the left, but I did not do any adjustments on the photo wanting to show exact atmosphere like it was that day. Shot @200mm hand held, from the boat, and that's what I'm proud of

Today is the Victory day in Croatia. Many of you maybe don't know that we had a war here rather recently, but on August 5th 1995, our army liberated major part of the country that was in enemy's hands from 1990/1. Some parts got re-integrated peacefully some time later. So today, I wish to thank all of those people who fought for the freedom, not only in my homeland, but also in all the countries that got their freedom or are still fighting for it. I wish there were no more wars.

Yep. I returned from Crete last Saturday. Beautiful 10 days spent with my friend, wandering around in search for flowers and old shrines. The weather was odd, so the people there said: there was Sahara sand in the air all the time, few days were extremely hot and then some days very windy.
